2009 Alumni Fund
We are in the midst of an
exciting period in the history of the Seminary.
We are at the center of reaffirmation of accreditation by both SACS and
ATS. Administrative staff members are
reevaluating our programs and services to ensure we are making the greatest
gains possible to meet the needs of ministerial training for our ever-changing
culture. Our online courses are inviting
new students and enrollment is up. We
look forward with expectation to what the future holds.
This academic year our student
scholarship base has expanded by larger than normal increases. When a scholarship fund is
established at the Seminary, a celebration of the life of the individual whom
the scholarship is named for takes place to recognize his/her contribution to
ministry and education. This
also introduces the students to the donors who are making their education
possible.
The Curtsinger Ministry Center,
where our scholarship ceremonies take place and where our largest classes meet,
needs new carpet. We invite you to show
your personal support of the
Pentecostal Theological Seminary
by helping with this project today. If
you received any type of tuition assistance through endowments, care ministries
scholarships, or the Pastoral Enrichment Program, you understand the necessity
of these programs. Our endowed
scholarships are now responsible for $500,000.00 in tuition assistance each
academic year.
Three ways you can give are to
mail your donation to the Office of Institutional Advancement, PO Box 3330, Cleveland,
TN 37320; phone the business office at
423-478-1131 to make a credit card payment; or make an online donation at
www.ptseminary.edu through Paypal.
Our goal is $10,000.00 to
completely install the carpet squares.
Your gift, no matter the amount, will make a difference.
